dc.description.abstractHigher education in Indonesia has been continuously required to increase its performance in order to meet its stakeholder’s needs. Accreditation has been applied to the higher education to make sure that it practices accountable management. Higher education management has a spiritual aspect. There is spirituality in management. This article tries to explore the spirituality in management with regard to higher education management. Some articles and research findings on the topic have been studied. The relationship between higher education management and its daily practice was described. Higher education management is more than administrative and managerial processes. It has spiritual dimension which influences the organizational management performance. Therefore, higher education institution needs to pay attention on spiritual aspect of its management. One of the aspects of the spirituality in management is workplace spirituality. By building a positive workplace spirituality the higher education institution will effectively reach its vision and mission.en_US
